A COURSE ON GIFTS AND CALLING
So many Christians ask, 'What does God want me to do for him?' To answer the question, we need to have a good understanding of what spiritual gifts are, how to discover ours and then how to use them effectively. This course will help you to see that your gifts are part of who God has made you, not something tacked on as an afterthought.
It begins with an inspirational evening, looking at the life of Joshua. It then continues for three sessions, including one where we help you discover your own gifts. There will be teaching and an opportunity to talk things through with those around or to ask questions. The course is practical, in that it aims to help people discover their own gift or gifts.

Destiny and Calling - Biblical Perspective from Joshua
This introductory evening will provide inspirational biblical teaching on how our calling develops. We will look at how God built Joshua's character, how he was commissioned, how he fully entered into his calling and how he conquered the enemy to take his inheritance. Come and get a taster!

Walking into our Calling
This course is to help us discover our gifts and calling. We begin by looking at the unique make-up God has given us and consider how aspects of our life can hinder or throw us off-course. We look at what the Bible teaches about gifts from the point of view of our unique make-up, seeing how our gifts fit with others' and how the aim is church growth. The overall objective is to set us on a path within the Church where we can begin to put our calling into practice.
A key aspect of the course is that our gifts arise from who we are, not the other way around.
The course takes place in the Discovery Café at Plymouth Methodist Central Hall. Please contact Central Hall by telephone on
